Over The Top- Indian Burn

Here's something a little different from the group Over The Top. Not something I would bang out at a raging party, but this could be turned into a crazy remix or dubstep banger so keep a look out.

Avicii-Street Dancer

Currently being featured on beatport is this new banger from Avicii. Loving the swedish house feel that he brings to all his tracks. Be sure to catch him live sometime, should be a big year for him.

Adrian Lux- Can't Sleep (Avicii vs Philgood Remix)

Anyone who has the new FIFA 2k11 has heard the Adrian Lux banger "I Can't Sleep". Well here is a version remixed with Avicii and Philgood that shows his ability to turn any track into a total headbanger. Also be sure to check out the Adrian Luz remixes "Teenage Crime" and "Strawberry"

Nicki Minaj-Moment 4 Life (Star Slinger Remix)

Although Nicki Minaj's recent album wasn't the rapper-guzzling phenomenon that we had all been hopin for, some good did come out of it. Star Slinger got a hold of her track 'Moment 4 Life", takes out Drake's guest appearance, and turns it into a sick cool-out/pregame track that needs to be played on repeat.

Movin' on Out

Yo, sorry I've been out for a while, my life changed drastically over the past few days. I got a call from a friend offering me a full time job at Copper Mountain. So far it has been fuckin' nuts! I dropped a deposit on a place today and am officially moving all my shit from Boulder to here in the next few days. If you are in the mountains at all, hit up The Green Fairy bar and nightclub located in the central village and come say what up. I'll continue posting news, music, and all other kinds of stuff from here so lets keep it going!

Yeah this is where I live now...rough life

Whip My Hair, Here We Go (Bassnectar vs Willow Smith

Who doesn't like a Bassnectar remix? This time he gets a hold of Willow Smith's debut single and turns it into a filthy, WhoMpY, headbanger that will make anyone get up and go nuts. I'm still a fuckin rookie at this, and the only way I can give it to you is a youtube video. Sorry, I'll get a hang of this shit soon.

Steve Aoki & Afrojack- No Beef

In 2010, Steve Aoki & Afrojack locked themselves in the studio a few times to collaborate some sound, and this is one of the bangers that they came out with. I love how it has the Dutch House feel that so many of us fell in love with last year, but Aoki & Afrojack take it to a new level with this one. Plug this track into your loud speakers and let it rip!

It's pretty long, so im posting it in 5 seperate installments so you can listen to whichever you like the best, or all the way through. Includes tracks from Caspa, Leon, Kid Sister, Mr. Chips, and Metalick. Enjoy!

Happy New Year!

To end the year 2010 on a good note, and to help bring in 2011 on an even better one, some friends and I went to the Boulder Theatre to check out an all-electronic cast of Pictureplane, Crystal Castles, and Robotic Pirate Monkey. To be honest, we were not sure what to expect since none of us are huge Crystal Castles fans, but we ended up being blown away with an amazing and energy packed live set that none of us saw coming. The sound was great, the lights were on point, and the entire crowd was feeding off the energy being put out. You could tell that Crystal Castles was putting everything they had into putting on an awesome new years show for all the fans. Here is a video I took, sorry about the poor quality, I wasn't too sober (New Years Eve, remember?)

After Crystal Castles killed it, Robotic Pirate Monkey came on to keep the party going strong. These guys always bring the heat with their unique sound and energy. Last night they brought out some new tricks, rocking out on iPads equipped with TouchOSC software, and even going crazy on the Monome at the same time! The Trio of Matt Berryhill, Andrew Hathaway, and Matt Flesher never disappoint and definitely kept their reputation of being able to rock out all night intact.

Overall it was an awesome night, Happy New Year homies, lets set the bar high for 2011!
